How listings work here
Short version: we sell placement and enquiries. We don't sell links.
What gets listed
Any Arizona business that does organic work in one of our categories. Some listings were added by their owners. Others we added ourselves from public registers — the USDA Organic Integrity Database, the Arizona Office of Pest Management licence register, the Arizona Department of Agriculture apiary register, and association member rosters.
Every listing shows where its facts came from and the date we read them. If a listing is about your business, there's a link on it to claim it, correct it, or ask us to take it down. We do all three for free, paid listing or not.
What the Verified badge means
It means we looked up a specific credential in a public register, and we publish which one, what it said, and the date we checked.
No credential, no badge. Paying for a listing does not get you a badge — a current licence or certificate does. If a credential lapses, the badge comes off.
Paid placement
Paid listings sit above free ones and are labelled as paid, every time, on every page. Featured slots are limited and marked. Nothing about paying changes what we say about a business — the description on a paid profile still has to be true, and we'll cut a claim we can't stand behind.
Links
Every outbound link to a listed business is nofollow or sponsored. Free listings get nofollow. Anything paid, comped, or part of a business arrangement gets sponsored. There is no tier, no price, and no arrangement that buys a link that passes ranking signal, because selling those breaks Google's spam policies and puts both of us at risk.
What a paid listing actually gets you is a page on this site that we write, publish and work to rank, a citation with your name, address and phone stated consistently, and the enquiries that come off it. That's the product. It's worth more than a link and it can't be taken away by an algorithm update.
Corrections and removals
Email us. Corrections go up the same week. Removals are honoured without argument and without a retention offer.
